The Cottage

The cottage at Moy Lodge can either be taken as an annex for lodge bookings, or as its own wee self-contained getaway. Five bedrooms and cosy living spaces make for a simple, happy place to spend some time.

Welcome to
Moy Cottage

A cosy retreat in the
wild Scottish Highlands

Moy Cottage is a charming, newly renovated five-bedroom, three-bathroom cottage (including one en suite) that comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests.

Originally situated on the historic coaching route through the Highlands, long before the modern A86, horse-drawn coaches and sporting parties passed along this route, stopping at Moy Cottage to rest horses and break their journeys through the dramatic landscape.  At the time, Moy had the reputation for serving up some of the worst food in the whole of Scotland.

The cottage enjoys an outdoor covered seating area and BBQ area and also a walled garden with fruit trees, fruit bushes and roses.

Aga cooking
and fireside chats

At the heart of the cottage is the welcoming kitchen, centred around a traditional Aga. Beyond this lies the cosy living room, complete with a traditional wood-burning stove, making it the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the surrounding hills.

Sleep well

The cottage comprises five bedrooms: one offering traditional built-in beds, one with two single beds, two bedrooms that feature luxurious super king size beds and the fifth bedroom that can be arranged as either two single beds or a luxurious king-size bed upon request.
