A 25% non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of reservation to secure the booking with the remaining balance to be received 90 days prior to arrival. This reservation may be moved once, up to 90 days prior to arrival, after which point it becomes non moveable and non-refundable. Rescheduled reservations will be subject to current pricing.
For reservations made within 90 days of arrival a 100% non-refundable payment will be required at the time of booking. This reservation may be moved once up to 60 days prior to arrival, after which point it becomes non moveable and non-refundable. Rescheduled reservations will be subject to current pricing. We advise adequate travel insurance is taken out to ensure any cancellations within this period are covered.
Once the 25% deposit has been received, or in the case where the booking has been made within 90 days of arrival and the full non-refundable payment has been paid, a contract has been entered into. Our pricing rates and inclusions are subject to change without notice and may vary depending on season, number of guests and other reasons. All prices are subject to availability and are inclusive of VAT.
Certain dates are subject to a minimum length of stay.
General terms: These terms apply to all bookings for Moy Lodge and Moy Cottage. The guest whose name appears on the booking form agrees to take full responsibility for ensuring that all the following Conditions of Let are adhered to by all members of the party. Upon completing the booking procedure the guest agrees to:
- Limit the number of people (which includes babies and children) occupying the property to that stated on the website.
- To notify any cancellation in writing and pay any monies due.
- Acknowledge and accept that should the property, subsequent to booking, become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to fire, flooding, power outages or similar incidents we will refund you as appropriate. However, the property owner’s liability is strictly limited to the reimbursement of any rental payments already made and no further compensation, costs, damages or expenses shall be payable as a consequence of these events.
- Acknowledge and accept that they are solely responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings whilst occupying the accommodation. All vehicles and their contents are left on the premises entirely at the owner’s risk. Guests further agree that the owner of the property shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, accident, injury, illness, or mishap affecting persons or property occurring on the premises or arising from participation in any activities undertaken during their stay, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
- Pets are allowed in the cottage only. Up to two dogs are allowed at an additional cost of £30 per pet. Pets must be kept under strict control at all times and guests must accept liability for any damage caused. Pets must be house trained and must not be left alone at any time in the cottage. Animal hairs must be removed from carpets and pets are not allowed on the furniture. Any fouling in or around the garden must be cleared prior to departure.
- To allow the owner or agents of the owner to access the property at all reasonable times.
- To be responsible for shutting and locking all exterior doors and windows securing the property when absent or sleeping.
- To minimise any fire risk and run the heating and electricity at the minimum required level particularly when not present at the property.
- A deposit of £500 for the property will be collected by the owner prior to arrival and the guest agrees to reimburse the owner for any breakages, loss or damage, other than those due to fair wear and tear and costs for any excess cleaning required upon departure to be taken from the deposit.
- To ensure that smoking does not take place inside the property. Any evidence of smoking will result in up to the full deposit being charged towards further cleaning of the property.
- Check in at or after 16.00 and check out latest at 11.00 am, however, early check in and check out can be requested in advance and is dependent on availability.
