Moy Lodge FAQs

Moy Lodge accommodates up to 20 guests across 10 individually furnished bedrooms. The bedrooms include super-king, king, double, twin and flexible arrangements. The Lodge has five bathrooms and four additional washrooms.

Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner are included in your stay, together with light housekeeping. Meals are freshly prepared using seasonal produce, with menus planned around your group before arrival. Please tell us about any dietary requirements when making your enquiry.

Tea, coffee beans and fresh milk are provided. Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks are not included in the rental price.

Wine, beer, soft drinks and sparkling water can be pre-ordered before your stay, or you are welcome to bring your own.

Pets are not permitted at Moy Lodge. Moy Cottage welcomes pets and can accommodate them when both properties are booked together.

If you are travelling with an assistance animal, please contact us.

Lodge guests have access to the loch shore, seasonal sandy beach, wood-burning sauna, historic boathouse, full-size snooker table, table tennis and the old servants’ dance hall, which can be used for ceilidhs and other activities.

Lodge guests may swim in the loch and bring their own paddleboards, canoes or kayaks.

Use of the Moy fishing boat must be arranged in advance. The boat is available only to Lodge guests and groups booking both properties. The supplied life jackets must be worn.

Starlink Wi-Fi is available throughout the Lodge. O2 and Vodafone generally provide reliable mobile reception, while other networks can be patchy.

There is no dedicated EV charger at Moy.

No, Moy Lodge is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact us before booking if anyone in your group has particular mobility requirements so that we can discuss the property’s layout and suitability.

Check-in is from 16:00 and checkout is by 11:00. Early arrival or later departure may be requested in advance but depends on availability.

The standard minimum stay is three nights.

Following the New Year booking, Moy Lodge closes until the beginning of March.

Every Lodge stay is arranged by direct enquiry. Rates are tailored to your dates, group and requirements.

Please submit an enquiry through the website or contact us directly to discuss your stay.

A 25% non-refundable deposit secures your dates, with the remaining accommodation balance due 90 days before arrival. Bookings made 90 days or fewer before arrival must be paid in full when confirmed. The cancellation and rebooking provisions are explained in the full Moy Lodge and Combined Direct Booking Terms.

A £500 refundable security deposit applies to both Lodge-only and combined Lodge and Cottage bookings. Your quotation will confirm whether this is taken as a payment or card pre-authorisation, when it is required and when it will be refunded or released.

We strongly recommend taking out suitable travel insurance.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors.

If smoking outside, please do so well away from buildings and other combustible materials.
Cigarettes and matches must be fully extinguished and disposed of safely, and must never be discarded anywhere in the grounds or surrounding countryside.

Particular care is required during dry weather because of wildfire risk.

Moy Lodge welcomes family gatherings, milestone celebrations, friendship groups, resident dinner parties and corporate retreats.

Please discuss any organised event, outside supplier or non-resident visitors with us before booking. Hen and stag groups are not accepted.

Yes. Booking both properties provides accommodation for up to 30 overnight guests. The group is treated as one combined booking, with access to the Lodge facilities, and all 30 guests can dine and be catered for together in the Lodge.
